A vehicle called the Votemobile is coming to Manitowoc to promote early voting.
The redone recreational vehicle is owned by a group known as Building Unity, and its appearance in Manitowoc is being sponsored by Lakeshore Unitarian Universalist Church, the local League of Women Voters and a group called RUTH, which stands for Responding with Understanding, Truth and Hope.
The vehicle will be in the area for close to a week. Cecilia Held, a member of the sponsoring groups, says the bus will be at the Presbyterian Church parking lot tonight and will remain there until Sunday, when it will move to the parking lot across from the Manitowoc Public Library.
Lakeshore United Visionaries will also be assisting in the efforts to encourage early voting.
Daily hours for talking with representatives will be from ten am to 2 pm, and 4 to 8 pm.
