The catering company that provides food services for games at Lambeau Field and Miller Park is laying off about 1,300 of its employees.
Even if the games are played, no fans in the stands mean no food sales.
New York-based Delaware Food notified the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development about the move.
It says it will recall those workers when normal business resumes.
The company says it furloughed some of its full-time and part-time associates beginning last March.
The layoffs affect primarily cooks and servers.
