The Milwaukee Common Council is scheduled to discuss a face mask mandate during a meeting of the Public Health and Safety Committee this (Thursday) afternoon at 2:30 p-m.
Several changes have been made to the original wording of the ordinance introduced by Alderwoman Marina Dimitrijevic.
The new ordinance will require any person three years of age or older to wear a mask when they are inside any “indoor public space.”
The original version would have made the mask mandatory outside when a person not from the family or household was within 30 feet.
That has been changed to six feet, matching the C-D-C’s social distancing guideline.
