The City of Sheboygan is going back to charging late fees to people who are late in paying for their pet’s licenses.
The licenses that are affected are those for cats, dogs, and miniature potbellied pigs. The City suspended their collection of late fees back on April 1st, as many people suddenly were out of a job due to the Safer at Home Order.
The Sheboygan Police Department issues licenses and collects the fees, and they are reminding residents that you’ll now need an extra $5 on top of the regular fees if you haven’t yet renewed that annual license that’s good for one year beginning January 1st.
