State health officials report the percentage of positive coronavirus test results more than doubled last weekend.
Averaging anywhere from 2.5 TO 4.5% in recent weeks, 11 percent of Saturday’s tests and more than 10% of Sunday’s tests were positive. No additional deaths were reported Sunday.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services says the state has recorded a total of 31,577 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Nearly 25,000 people have recovered from their infections in Wisconsin, representing about 79% of the confirmed cases of the virus.
