As the Milwaukee Brewers began their preparation for the shortened 2020 Major League Baseball season, there was good news from Miller Park.
The team reports no new positive tests for coronavirus among the players or team staff members. Nobody is sidelined.
Current protocols say any players who test positive must test negative twice in a 24-hour period to return to action. That lessens the likelihood a false test result could lead to an outbreak.
Just last month the Brewers said a “small number” tested positive, but it was never specified whether they were players, staff members, or other employees.
