A man wounded in his parent’s house has been charged with two counts of attempted first-degree intentional homicide.
Investigators say 37-year-old Gary W. Dickson of Reedsburg shot his way into that house on June 29th in the village of North Freedom.
He was wounded when his parents returned fire while he tried to reload a weapon. Dickson’s mother and her husband had retreated to the basement while he sprayed the home with bullets.
Dickson is reported to be in critical condition at U-W Hospital in Madison.
