Center Mick Messner becomes the second member of the Wisconsin men’s hockey team to enter the N-C-A-A transfer protocol.
A spokesperson for the program confirmed that Wednesday.
Messner is a Madison native, but he is said to be exploring a transfer to another school. Almost four months ago forward Sean Dhooghe entered the portal, then committed to transfer to Arizona State for his final season of college hockey.
Goaltender Robbie Beydoun is transferring in to the Badgers program from Michigan Tech. As a graduate transfer, he will be eligible to play immediately.
