The Meijer building in Manitowoc has been looming over South Rapids Road for several months, but now it is ready to open in just over a week. On top of offering an alternative to places like Walmart and Festival Foods, there will also be a small Holy Family Memorial clinic inside the store.
The clinic, known as HFM FastCare, will provide treatment for minor illness and injuries for adults and children, offer basic lab tests and provide flu vaccines, with no appointments needed. Services include treatment for allergies, bladder infections, ear infections, rashes, sinus infections, insect bites and more.
Visits to the clinic will cost $69, and patients may pay in cash or have their insurance billed. The service is open to everyone, regardless of whether they are an HFM patient.
Their hours will be Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
