A Manitowoc man was taken into police custody yesterday after a domestic incident.
Officers were called to a home in the 700 block of South 19th Street just after 6:00 PM on a family trouble call. When they arrived, they spoke with a female resident, who explained that she and her boyfriend were arguing all day due to the 34-year-old man’s abusive language and damage he caused to the residence.
During the argument, the man allegedly broke several objects in the home, and pulled a clump of hair out of the woman’s head.
There are two children that live in the home, but neither witnessed the incident.
The man was taken to the Manitowoc County Jail on a charge of Disorderly Conduct.
