A 47-year-old Manitowoc man charged with Operating a motor vehicle while under the influence 5th or 6th offense is free on a $3000 signature bond.
Police arrested Todd P. Mueller early Friday morning after an officer noticed a vehicle operating without its headlights on. A traffic stop was made in the 1100 block of Washington Street during which the arresting officer detected an odor of intoxicants coming from the vehicle. He also noticed Mueller had slurred speech and his response to questions was delayed. Following a blood draw at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center overnight, Mueller was transported to the Manitowoc County Jail.
Conditions of bail are that Mueller maintain absolute sobriety from drugs and alcohol-not operate a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license and report to MPD for photos and prints upon release. His initial appearance is scheduled for August 10th at 9:30.
