Bail is set at $500 cash for a 46-year-old Manitowoc man facing charges after violating a domestic abuse injunction.
Tyrone C. Carter is also charged with criminal trespass to a dwelling after officers responded to a home in the 1600 block of Madison Street early Monday night.
Police say Carter’s ex-girlfriend told them that she came home to find him sitting on her couch despite a court order decreeing him not to have contact with her adding that Carter had been emotionally and physically abusive towards her in the past.
He was taken into custody without incident.
Condition of bail is that Carter have no contact with his ex-girlfriend. He remains in the County Jail with his initial appearance scheduled for July 6th at 2:30.
