Former Milwaukee Bucks head coach Jason Kidd is one of the candidates to become the new leader for the New York Knicks.
The Knicks are looking for a replacement for David Fizdale. Former Timberwolves coach Tom Thibodeau has become an early favorite, while Kidd is currently an assistant for the Los Angeles Lakers.
He played a season for the Knicks and some reports indicate the franchise believes Kidd could help convince Giannis Antetokounmpo to play in the Big Apple since he coached the Greek Freak in Milwaukee.
The Knicks aren’t expected to name a replacement until next month at the earliest.
