An annual event in Two Rivers has been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Two Rivers Lions Club recently announced that due to concerns over the pandemic, the 2020 iteration of Applefest will no longer go on as planned.
The event, which was scheduled for October 10th, traditionally features not only an apple baking contest and apple pie social, but also arts and crafts, and entertainment.
The Lions Club has said that this cancelation is only for this year’s event, and will not effect next year’s event.
