Police say a Janesville teenager has admitted shooting a man who was trying to recover his stepson’s stolen bike.
17-year-old Kenan Clemons made his initial appearance in Rock County Circuit Court Monday.
He is facing charges of attempted first-degree intentional homicide, armed carjacking, burglary and theft.
Investigators say Clemons shot Trenton Stommen June 6th when Strommen confronted him about the stolen bicycle.
The District Attorney’s Office says Stommen has had five surgeries and could still possibly lose his arm.
He’s listed in good condition at U-W Hospital.
