An attorney accused of spitting on a black high school student during a rally against racism in a Milwaukee suburb is facing a hate crime charge. Stephanie Rapkin of Shorewood showed up at the protest Saturday and parked her car in the street, blocking the march. Video reportedly shows Rapkin spitting on Eric Lucas when protesters asked her to move her vehicle. The criminal complaint says police went to Rapkin’s home the next day and she resisted arrest and kneed an officer in the groin. She’s charged with disorderly conduct – hate crime and battery to a law enforcement officer.
