Many continue to ask about the status of the 2020 Manitowoc County Fair.
County Executive Bob Ziegelbauer said, “A lot of fairs have been canceled. Some are holding on. We have the advantage of a late fair…but they are weighing all the options. They will make a decision in about a month, but they want to have a fair.”
Expo Facility Manager Jennell Shelton recently spoke with SeehaferNews.com, telling us “The Manitowoc County Expo Board has been planning the 2020 Manitowoc County Fair for the past year and have also been closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation while consulting with our fair judges, vendors, and entertainment acts. Since the Manitowoc County Fair is the single largest event held in Manitowoc County every year the Expo Board has always had the safety of our fairgoers as their highest priority and they will be making a recommendation later this month regarding hosting or possibly cancelling the 2020 Manitowoc County Fair.”
The Fair is scheduled to run August 26th thru the 30th at the County Expo Grounds.
