Madison’s mayor says she supports the calls from former President Barack Obama for common-sense policy reforms.
Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway says Madison is working on practical solutions and new laws to be implemented. She says the city will hire its first Independent Police Auditor after a City Council vote Tuesday.
The former president is asking all U-S cities to review their use of force policies, engage communities by including a diverse range of input, experiences and stories, and report findings to those communities.
