A $3000 signature bond was set for a 29-year-old Manitowoc woman after police found her asleep behind the wheel of her vehicle. Charges against Britany L. Larocque include possession of the drug 1-4 butanediolh (or GBL), drug paraphernalia and two counts of felony bail jumping.
Officers responded to the intersection of Memorial Drive and Reed Avenue early Friday morning and found Larocque passed out behind the wheel and unresponsive. She woke up when removed from her vehicle initially denying any drug use. A subsequent search by a K-9 Officer confirmed the presence of drugs in her vehicle.
Larocque eventually admitted to authorities she had used GBL-which is a precursor for GHB- a rave and date rape drug.
Conditions of bail are that Larocque not possess any controlled substance and maintain absolute sobriety.
She remains in the County Jail on a probation hold with an initial appearance scheduled for June 29th.
