Former Wisconsin Badgers center Travis Frederick is officially ending his N-F-L career. The Dallas Cowboys placed the five-time Pro-Bowler on the reserve/retired list Thursday.
Frederick announced in March that he was planning to hang up his cleats. Waiting until June to remove him from the active roster will allow Dallas to free up some cap space over the next two years.
The Cowboys selected Frederick in the first round of the 2013 N-F-L Draft, and former Wisconsin center Tyler Biadasz was taken by Dallas in the fourth round this year.
