Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett wants a quick review of any ‘interactions’ between police and protesters. The mayor said he wants to look at any arrests or uses of force that raise eyebrows or may cross the line. His comments came as video of an arrest made the rounds of social media. In the video you can hear the crowd yell for a Milwaukee police officer to get his knee off a man’s neck. Barrett says he wants to see peaceful protesters protected, but police officers also must be safe. Milwaukee’s Common Council wants to hold a hearing to get answers about a protester throwing a Molotov cocktail at police.
