Update June 4, 2020: The Manitowoc Bandits have announced their season opener with the Casco A’s, scheduled for Monday, June 8 has been canceled
Sounds of the crack of the bat and ball hitting the glove will be heard very soon at Municipal Field. The Manitowoc Bandits will start their COVID-19-delayed season with four Home games next week.
Team President Jim Kaufmann says the Bandits will begin their Shoreland League schedule on Monday night at 7:00 against the Casco A’s. They’ll host the Algoma ‘Guins on Wednesday, June 10th, and then play a doubleheader next Saturday, June 13th on Military Appreciation Day at the park.
Manitowoc will take on the Kewaunee Chiefs in the opener with pre-game festivities to start at 3:30, followed by a 6:00 matchup with the Branch Blaze.
A program to honor our military men and women is set to occur between games. The Manitowoc Bandits are led by General Manager and Head Coach Chris Cisler.
