Milwaukee County District Four Supervisor Ryan Clancy was among the people arrested Sunday night for violating curfew.
Clancy says he was tackled and brought to the ground while he shot video of the protest scene on his cell phone. He accuses the M-P-D officers of escalating the situation.
Clancy was standing on the Shorewood side of the street, so he and the people next to him weren’t violating the Milwaukee curfew.
As an elected official, he was exempt from the order anyway – but he says officers ignored him when he showed them his credentials.
