The new Gundersen St. Joseph’s Hospital and Clinic in Hillsboro is scheduled to open June 15th.
The new 70,000 square-foot facility sits next to the original 68-year-old building. It isn’t much bigger, but staff members say it is more efficiently laid out to meet the needs of their patients.
The hospital has more than 200 employees in a small city of 1,400 residents.
