Knock on wood, but Manitowoc County has gone just shy of one week since their last confirmed case of COVID-19.
For the last six days, the number of confirmed cases has sat at 36, with 400 tests coming back negative over that same stretch. A total of 2,708 tests have come back negative.
More positive news as well, as one more person is listed as having fulling recovered, bringing that number up to 12, leaving 23 active cases. Just a reminder, people are only listed as fully recovered after they have gone one month since contracting the virus.
Meanwhile in Sheboygan County, five more cases were confirmed yesterday. They now have 96 confirmed cases, 14 of which remain active. A total of 79 people have recovered, and 3,167 tests have come back negative.
Part of this sudden spike may be contributed to the community testing which occurred at the Sheboygan County Fairgrounds last week.
