Madison Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway has declared a state of emergency in Wisconsin’s Capitol city until Tuesday.
Protesters and rioters damaged about 75 businesses Saturday night, three people were arrested and one officer injured during the violence. Tear gas was used Sunday night for the second night in a row.
Soldiers with the Wisconsin National Guard were helping police maintain control.
