Junior defenseman Ty Emberson has been chosen team captain for the next season of Wisconsin men’s hockey.
The Eau Claire native was an alternate captain during the second half of last season. He has posted five goals and 21 points in 70 games for the Badgers. Emberson was one of the top performers with the U-S National Junior Team at the 2020 World Junior Championships.
This year’s alternate captain is senior forward Tarek Baker of Madison. Senior forward Ty Pelton-Byce and junior defenseman Tyler Inamoto will also serve as alternate captains.
