Four more cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Manitowoc County, bringing the total up to 36.
While this may seem to indicate some sort of “second wave” of cases, these cases are likely linked to the community testing that took place at the Expo Grounds in Manitowoc last week.
A total of 2,307 tests have come back negative, a rise of 408. This translates to about 1.5% of all tests coming back positive, which has dropped over the last few weeks.
In Sheboygan County, some good news as for the fourth consecutive day no new cases were reported. On top of that, four more people have fully recovered, leaving only 8 active cases.
133 more tests came back negative, bringing that total up to 2,873. Just shy of 3% of all tests have been positive in the county, and just over 87% of all cases have fully recovered.
