She says the mix of online and in-person instruction will be determined later, but Chancellor Rebecca Blank says the University of Wisconsin-Madison will be open for the fall 2020 semester.
Blank indicates large lectures will likely be taught remotely.
The veteran educator says it simply won’t be a normal semester next fall and the school is preparing for an entire academic year affected by COVID-19.
Blank says her office is still working to figure out a way to safely re-open residence halls and dining facilities.
