Fox Communities Credit Union has canceled their Bike to the Beat ride day which was scheduled for August 1st, citing the “unpredictability of the COVID-19 pandemic”.
In a news release Community Engagement Manager, Heather Wessley stated, “The decision comes after careful deliberation by the Bike to the Beat planning committee in an effort to keep participants, volunteers, partners, spectators and the community as a whole safe during the pandemic and not detract valuable resources away from local health systems.”
She also says that they hope to have Bike to the Beat back in 2021.
