
An apartment building caught fire Friday night in Sheboygan.
According to reports, the blaze was reported to the Sheboygan Fire Department at around 9:45 PM, sending crews to battle the fire in the 2600 block of Camelot Boulevard.
Crews arrived to find the porch on fire, and that the embers had moved into the building between the first and third floor.
Crews were successfully able to extinguish the fire, but not before it caused roughly $30,000 in damage.
All of the residents of the building were able to escape without injury.
The blaze was reportedly started due to the improper disposal of smoking materials.
