Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers is quick to defend his Department of Health Services Secretary-designee after a lawmaker’s attack.
Less than a day after the Wisconsin Supreme Court struck down the extension of the Safer at Home order, State Senator Tom Tiffany demanded that Andrea Palm resign.
Hearing that, the governor suggested that Tiffany should relax after winning his election to the state’s 7th District Congressional seat this week.
Evers called the Republican’s demand “an insane statement.”
Tiffany wrapped up his prepared statement by calling Palm the governor’s “hired gun,” saying she will cause Wisconsin deaths if she continues.
