A Manitowoc man finds himself in a bit of a pickle after being arrested early Wednesday morning.
Police were called to a home in the 1000 block of Memorial Drive on a report of a fight between two men. Officers arrived to find a pool of blood on the floor and splatters throughout the room.
A witness told officers that she, along with a 63-year-old man and a 43-year-old man were drinking, and the men began horsing around. The play fighting became serious, and an argument ensued.
The victim, the younger man, explained that he turned away from the older man for a second, and was hit with a quart jar of pickles.
The man did receive injuries, but the extent of those injuries was not stated in the release.
The 63-year-old man is now facing charges of substantial battery and disorderly conduct.
