The 37 year old Newton woman who is facing child abuse charges pleaded not guilty in Manitowoc County Circuit Court yesterday.
Tina M. McKeever-Hauschultz was ruled competent to stand trial earlier this month for her role in the death of 7 year old Ethan Hauschultz in April of 2018.
She is facing charges including two counts of felony child abuse by failure to prevent bodily harm as a party to a crime, one count of felony intentionally contributing to the delinquency of a child during which a felony occurred as party to a crime, and one count of intentionally contributing to the delinquency of a child resulting in death as party to a crime.
Her husband, Timothy Hauschultz and their son Damian are also facing charges in the death.
