No change has been reported in the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in both Manitowoc and Sheboygan Counties.
There are still 20 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Manitowoc County, with 2 of those individuals fully recovering, and one death. 15 tests were conducted leaving the county with a total of 691 negative results.
Emergency Services Director Travis Waack said that just because more stores are opening, that doesn’t mean the threat is gone, and that shoppers should continue to wear cloth face masks, and maintain social distancing.
Meanwhile in Sheboygan County, 68 people have been confirmed to have contracted the virus, with 49 people recovering, and one person remaining hospitalized.
33 more tests were conducted yesterday, and since they were all negative, that number rose to 1,601, meaning 95.8% of all tests have been negative.
