There are a pair of meetings scheduled to take place this evening in the City of Manitowoc.
First up will be the Public Utilities Commission, who will be meeting in person at the MPU Office because there are only seven members.
They will be entering a closed session to discuss personnel reports, as well as matters related to appointing a successor for the General Manager Position.
The Public Safety Committee will then meet via remote conferencing at 6:00 PM.
They will be taking a look at some requests for stop signs at the intersections of Cleveland and North 4th Street, as well as the Hamilton Street intersections with South 16th and 17th Streets.
They will also be taking a look at several city ordinances pertaining to off street parking and loading, regulating minor use of smoking and tobacco products, and the regulation of so called pedal pubs.
Any public comments should be called in to 686-6559 or emailed to anoworatzky@manitowoc.org no later than 3:00 PM.
