Bail is set at $4000 cash for a 19-year-old Manitowoc man taken into custody on Tuesday on several drug and gun related charges.
Korshaun Walcott is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession with intent while armed, carrying a concealed weapon and one count each of felony and misdemeanor Bail Jumping. $250 cash bail was also set on a separate matter of which a warrant was issued for his arrest in March.
Walcott was one of four individuals in a vehicle seen speeding on Calumet Avenue by police which was eventually pulled over in the BP Gas Station on Calumet. The officer recognizing Walcott and called for K-9 backup.When asked if he was in possession of any weapons Walcott said “You’ll have to find out.”
A subsequent search uncovered Walcott to be in possession of a weapon and approximately 31 and-a-half grams of marijuana.
Conditions of bail include that Walcott possess “no dangerous” weapon(s),maintain absolute sobriety, provide photos and prints at MPD and provide the court with an updated address upon release.
He remains in the County Jail with an initial appearance Scheduled for May 11th at 1:30.
