With Mother’s Day coming up on Sunday, many people may be struggling to find that perfect gift for the matriarch of the family. Several local businesses have teamed up to give you one more option that will also support local businesses.
Dawn Johnson from Summer Home Wisconsin located in Fish Creek (but will soon be opening a location in Manitowoc), explained that her organization teamed up with Salon 423 and Pizza Garden to offer Mother Loves Local bundles.
As for what will all be in these bundles Johnson said “It includes wine from Silarian Winery, a gift certificate from Pizza Garden, hair products from Salon 423, and it’s all packaged neatly in a burlap tote…from Summer Home Wisconsin.”
We also spoke with Ashley Henneman from Salon 423 located on Menasha Avenue in Manitowoc, who said that it’s a great gift because “it’s all local businesses.”
She said as a mom, she really appreciates the Pizza Garden gift certificate because “I feel like all I do is cook right now…It’s a great way to make mom feel special while supporting local businesses.”
