Twenty-two high school boys basketball programs in Wisconsin will be competing in new divisions in the WIAA Tournament next March.
A story by Mark Miller on wissports.net shows that one of the schools benefitting from a move down in classification is Reedsville.
Miller says Reedsville, with an enrollment of 179, moves from Division-4 to D-5, and playing a regular-season schedule that includes many larger schools should benefit them.
After an 8-and-15 record this past season, Coach Vince Denor welcomes back the majority of his Panthers lineup, including 6-3 Junior guard Brennan Dvorachek, who averaged 18-points & 12.5 rebounds per game.
Also averaging in double figures was 6-2 incoming senior Johnathan Timm, with 12 points and 7-rebounds per contest.
Another division shift from 4-to-5 is expected to benefit Lourdes Academy of Oshkosh, with an enrollment of 162.
The Knights have three-year letter winner and third-team All-State selection Preston Ruedinger and two other starters returning from a 20-&-5 squad.
