Legislative leaders and Governor Tony Evers have met to discuss ways to move forward in the battle against coronavirus.
Monday’s meeting won’t head off today’s (Tuesday’s) oral arguments before the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Wisconsin schools and businesses have been shut down for almost six weeks.
Evers met with Democratic and Republican leaders of the Assembly and Senate Monday evening.
After the meeting, Assembly Speaker Robin Vos said the possibility of a regional approach to safely reopening the state was discussed.
The governor hasn’t supported that in the past.
