Authorities have charged a 63-year-old Lake Delton man with operating while intoxicated for a Sunday motorcycle accident.
Steven G. Batzler was already on parole for a conviction on a charge of homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle. T
he Wisconsin State Patrol says Batzler wasn’t wearing a helmet when he hit a construction barrel on Interstate 94 in Jefferson County.
He had a pulse but wasn’t breathing when another driver stopped to help.
C-P-R was administered and he resumed breathing, then was taken to an Oconomowoc hospital for treatment to a head injury.
Batzler has multiple prior convictions for O-W-I.
