Man Killed In Collision With Car, Dump Truck

A 33-year-old Appleton man was killed after the car he was driving ran through a stop sign and hit a dump truck. It happened about 11:30 Thursday night on Highway 57 in the Brown County town of Holland, near Greenleaf. Sheriff’s deputies say the car veered into a ditch and both units started on fire. The Appleton man died at the scene, and his name was not immediately released. The dump truck driver was a 33-year-old Greenleaf man. He was treated at a hospital and later released.
