Many of the ideas for resuming the N-B-A season in Las Vegas are apparently coming from businesses themselves.
M-G-M Resorts International is pitching a package to set aside a fully-quarantined campus on one block of the Las Vegas strip where players would live and complete whatever schedule N-B-A leaders want.
The teams would be housed in the 4,700 room Mandalay Bay resort, while 24 basketball courts would be built at the resort’s convention center. Some of the courts would be used to televise games and others for practice.
The coronavirus pandemic has devastated the tourism industry and this would help it rebound.
