The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports 52 people who voted in-person April 7th – or who worked at polling locations – have tested positive for COVID-19.
The latest numbers were released Tuesday, three weeks after the presidential primary and spring election.
Although there is a connection, a spokesperson for Wisconsin Emergency Management points out that several of those 52 people also had other possible exposures which could have resulted in the positive test results.
