For a while there was a hectic scene at Neshotah Beach in Two Rivers on Saturday.
The Two Rivers Police Department was called at just after 11:00 AM, on a report of a suspicious box in Parking Lot 6 of the beech. Police secured the scene, while they waited for the Brown/Outagamie County Bomb Squad to arrive.
The Bomb Squad investigated the box, and determined it was not a threat. The item was then disposed of.
