“Big” Jordan Steckler of Two Rivers will try to make it in the “Big Easy.” The 2015 Two Rivers High School graduate has agreed to an undrafted Free Agent deal with the New Orleans Saints.
Steckler, who is 6′ 5″ and weighs 305 pounds, was an offensive lineman for Northern Illinois University. Jordan started in 43-games for the ‘Huskies’ in his college career & played ‘nearly every snap’ during the 2019 football season.
The former Raiders’ athlete was the only N-I-U player named to the All-Mid-American Conference First Team unit last Fall. Steckler graduated from Northern Illinois with a 3.62 GPA..and was a semifinalist for the William F. Campbell Trophy.
Jordan’s signing as a free agent with the Saints came Saturday night following the NFL Draft.
