The American Red Cross has indicated that 63-lives were saved by blood donors at the recent Y Community Blood Drive in Manitowoc.
Julie Grossman, Executive Director at the local Y, tells SeehaferNews.com social distancing was in effect in the gym & they had an ample amount of hand-washing stations on site.
Grossman also said she spoke with a number of people after they donated and heard those donors say they were happy to do something that helps other people.
The Y director says plans are in the works for another Community Blood Drive at their location on May 26th. Further details will be released soon.
