There were no more confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Manitowoc County yesterday.
The county total remains at seven, with no deaths and 235 negative test results.
Despite the low number of cases, Manitowoc County Emergency Services Director Travis Waack says more are likely coming. “We know it’s spreading,” he said. “As we continue to do more and more testing…we will continue to see more and more positive cases confirmed.”
Meanwhile in Sheboygan County, one more case was confirmed in an individual between the ages of 60 and 79.
There have now been 45 cases confirmed since the outbreak began, but only 12 of them are active, as 31 people have fully recovered, and 2 people have died from the virus.
Three of the people actively fighting the virus are in a hospital receiving treatment.
