Although the annual breakfast will look a little different this year, the Manitowoc County Historical Society is still hosting its 14th Annual Homegrown Heritage Breakfast as a tribute to local food producers.
On Saturday, May 16, from 8 am to 11 am, the Manitowoc County Historical Society will host their 14th Annual Homegrown Heritage Breakfast at the museum, 924 Pinecrest Road in Manitowoc. Due to the current situation, the breakfast will be available for to-go orders only. Guests may call the museum at (920) 684-4445 beginning at 8 am on Saturday, May 16 and breakfast will be brought out to your car when you arrive in the parking lot.
The cost of the breakfast is $10 for a plate full of Humpty Dumpty scrambled eggs, Newton Meats bacon, Newton Meats sausage, Willow Creek Mill pancakes with maple syrup from Hilltop Maple Syrup Camp, and Natural Ovens toast with Pine River Dairy butter and Creative Cannery jam. There is also a Family Breakfast (that feeds 4) for $35.
The breakfast will be prepared by Gill’s Bar and Grill, LLC and made possible by generous support from Investors Community Bank. Funds raised at the event will help the Manitowoc County Historical Society in their efforts to preserve and promote local history.
