City Reaching Out To Help Stevens Point Businesses

Stevens Point Mayor Mike Wiza says local businesses there have invested in the community and he says now it’s time to invest in them. The City Council approved a small business grant program during its Monday meeting. It would provide up to two thousand dollars to help those businesses cover the cost of rent, mortgage and utility payments. The grant money would be covered by 100 thousand dollars taken from the Stevens Point city fund.
